Alondra Park Chess Lessons
In collaboration with the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation, the Alondra Park Chess Club is holding chess lessons Mondays from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at our regular playing site at 3850 W Manhattan Beach Blvd. in Lawndale, CA.

Instructor – Matthew G. Robertson, USCF Candidate Master
Students can join anytime and sign up is on-site.
Lessons are organized in 6-week blocks. Certificates are earned upon completion of each block. The content of the initial lessons is aimed towards beginner to 1000 rated players, but will be adjusted in the future. Each session consists of approximately one hour of guided instructions, followed by one hour of student chess play. Please bring your own chess set, board, and chess clock.
